My dad's semi was the one used to chop off the top of Buford's car. The check my dad got paid for the use of his time and truck was framed and hung on our living room wall.... It was th first movie that my dad went to the theater to watch.....LOL

I was 12 when i first saw the movie i went out and bought a 1/8 scale model of the 1980 turbo trans am and many years later i bought an 1981 turbo trans am se , would love to get a 77 . oneday.

Love the models you build!! I was only a baby when this movie was made but the first time i saw it i fell in love with it! Its my favorite movie of all time. And as my own personal tribute im turning my 1/14 scale RC Semi tractor and trailer into a full replica of the great truck Ill send pics when im done its a long process but worth it

I love the Trans-Am and the truck,my grandpa bought a se T/A of the lot brand new in 1978.He liked pontiacs and Smokey and the Bandit.I think he may be cousins or something with Jerry.I love that movie very much and my dream is to own a 1977 se trans am and atruck just like the movie.
